Media Literacy Week: IBERIFIER na Geórgia

O projeto IBERIFIER-Iberian Media Research and Fact-checking este em destaque na conferência internacional “Media Literacy Week”, que decorreu online, entre 25 e 27 de Outubro de 2021, com organização do National Center for Teacher Professional Development, do Ministério da Educação da Geórgia.

Vitor Tomé, investigador do CIES-ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, apresentou a comunicação “Strengthening Digital Citizenship through Media Literacy: The Mission of All of Us”, na sessão plenária de abertura, tendo apontado o projeto liderado pela Universidade de Navara e pelo ISCTE, como um exemplo de como o cruzamento de áreas científicas das Ciências da Comunicação, da Sociologia, da Engenharia e da Educação é fundamental para combater a desinformação.
