IBERIFIER em Lisboa: Ramón Salaverría anuncia desejo de expansão do projeto para países onde se fala português e espanhol

Após a conferência sobre os impactos da desinformação na política, sociedade, segurança, que teve lugar no dia 21 de junho, nas instalações da agência Lusa, realizou-se o encontro que juntou representantes das 23 entidades que compõem o consórcio Iberifier. A reunião decorreu durante dois dias, 22 e 23 de junho, no auditório Paquete de Oliveira (sociólogo pioneiro nos estudos sobre média em Portugal), situado no campus do ISCTE- IUL, em Lisboa.

Ramón Salaverría anunciou aos investigadores, jornalistas e verificadores, que se tenciona alargar o campo de atuação do projeto, ou seja, fazê-lo crescer para os países onde se fala português e castelhano.

A reunião contou com uma forte participação de todos os seus membros e permitiu esboçar os novos campos a explorar na investigação. Iberifier é um projeto que integra 23 centros de investigação e universidades ibéricas, as agências noticiosas portuguesa, Lusa, e espanhola, EFE, e ‘fact checkers’ como o Polígrafo e a Maldita.es, entre outros.
