Entrevista: “Estamos longe de saber o real impacto da IA”, afirma Miguel Crespo

O investigador Miguel Crespo declarou à revista El Trapezio, uma publicação online dirigida às comunidades portuguesas e espanholas, que a “grande vantagem imediata da inteligência artificial, IA, é a de reduzir as tarefas industriais dos jornalistas”. Ou seja, desgravar entrevistas, auxiliar na descoberta de temas, investigação e organização de dados. De qualquer modo, “estamos longe de perceber o seu real impacto, embora saibamos que vai mudar a forma como pensamos, construímos e somos criativos”. Miguel Crespo integra a fundação do IBERIFIER e é um dos seus investigadores principais.

Na entrevista desenvolvida, Miguel Crespo explica ainda que a IA pode permitir que haja mais tempo para a parte criativa e para alcançar os públicos. Mas, mias uma vez, sublinha: “É uma questão de gestão estratégica de recursos e dos objetivos que os meios possam ter. Não podemos também esquecer os riscos que têm que ver com a desinformação e a utilização da IA por terceiros para disseminar conteúdos falsos, contra os quais o jornalismo tem de combater”.
