Gustavo Cardoso was the new membre of Lisbon Academy of Sciences

Professor in the Department of Sociology at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, research at Center for Sociology Research and Studies, CIES, Gustavo Cardoso was elected by the Class of Letters of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences as a corresponding member of the 9th section – Communication and the Arts. The ceremony took place on July 4th.

Gustavo Cardoso is the Director of Iscte’s Doctorate in Communication Sciences and is involved in numerous projects in the field of communication, including IBERIFIER – Iberian Digital Media Observatory, a European project dedicated to combating disinformation.
