Verificat presenta los resultados del proyeto europeu SUM que forma a 400 personas mayores en Europa contra la desinformación

Los responsables de Verificat hicieron balance del proyecto Seniores United against Misisformation, SUM, en la sede de la Comisión Europea en Barcelona. La iniciativa ha llegado a un total de 400 personas senior en Europa gracias a una red de 65 voluntarios, 16 de los cuales, en Catalunya, formados por Verificat.

El hito se ha conseguido gracias a una red de 65 voluntarios sénior a nivel europeo, de los cuales 16 han sido entrenados en Catalunya por Verificat con técnicas para detectar información falsa o engañosa, identificar fuentes fiables y entender el funcionamiento de las redes sociales. Verificat es miembro de IBERIFIER.

La iniciativa quiere «garantizar la integridad informativa, entendida como el rigor, la coherencia y la calidad del sistema informativo», ha explicado Cristina Figueras, responsable del área educativa de VerificatMás información.
