Foreign agents of disinformation aim above all to create distrust in institutions, says IBERIFIER research

Charo Sádaba identified two of the main agents of disinformation in an interview broadcast on the ‘Cara a Cara’ programme on Navarra Television. For the professor of Navarra University and member of IBERIFIER, it is possible to identify foreign mercenaries who are trying to undermine trust in institutions, as well as politicians who don’t always use information correctly.

Charo also presents the main difficulties facing journalism today and explains why it is important to explain to the public what journalism is and how it is produced. Charo Sádaba has extensively studied the impact of disinformation and emphasized the importance of media literacy to counter its effects.
