MEDIA LITERACY CAMPAIGN: “BE ONLINE SMART”
The European Digital Media Observatory, EDMO, in collaboration with 14 local hubs, is launching the “Be Online Smart” campaign to raise awareness about the ways digital media features can influence citizen’s decisions. Some of the campaign’s slogans highlight how certain content can go viral and the role of algorithms play in shaping what users see on social media platforms. This campaign is primarily physical, taking place in strategic locations, and also features postcards that can be downloaded and used in various ways. The QR Code provides further information.
