EDMO lança aviso: Guerra está a gerar desinformação com conteúdos descontextualizados

O Observatório Europeu dos Meios de Comunicação Digitais, EDMO, alerta, através de um cartaz online, para conteúdos de desinformação que já circulam nas redes sociais. A proliferação de conteúdos enganosos aumenta em situações de guerra e conflito. Os ataques do Hamas a Israel iniciados no último sábado, dia 7 de outubro, já estão a originar manipulação de imagens, utilização de contextos falsos, e narrativas simplistas que envolvem os grandes atores políticos internacionais.
