No programa de rádio ‘Las mañanas de RNE’, que foi para o ar dia 17 de julho, o coordenador do Iberifier, Ramón Salaverría, defende que “é importante distinguir desinformação de discrepância ideológica” e que a regulação seja homogénea para os meios, sem distinguir os meios digitais dos outros, tradicionais.

A questão da discrepância ideológica foi mencionada porque alguns pretendem censurar conteúdos que não lhes agradam alegando tratar-se de desinformação. Não se pode confundir a informação jornalística, devidamente fundamentada, que tem de ser publicada, segundo as regras, com desinformação, explica Ramón Salaverría.

O professor catedrático da Universidade de Navarra considera ainda que é muito relevante que o financiamento dos meios seja transparente.
