On 15 and 16 October 2026, IBERIFIER, the Iberian Digital Media Observatory, will bring together researchers, fact-checkers, media literacy experts and professionals from Spain, Portugal and across Europe for A Plus for Europe: Advancing the Iberian Response to Disinformation.

Held at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Spain, in Madrid, the conference will examine disinformation in the Iberian information space and the responses being developed across research, fact-checking, media literacy and European policy. The programme includes keynote conferences, roundtables and research presentations.
