Relatório “Maldita.es”: Desinformação sobre mulher de Zelensky associa-a a rede com crianças

Páginas da internet e contas criadas nas redes sociais têm difundido nos últimos meses desinformação sobre Olena Zelensky, mulher de Volodymyr Zelensky, presidente da Ucrânia, revela o relatório produzido pela “Maldita.es”. “Trata-se da versão ucranianado Pizzagate, que, em 2016, acusava Hillary Clinton de gerir uma rede pedófila”, pode ler-se no documento.

A desinformação em causa, que circulou dos lados do Atlântico, da Georgia à Argentina, acusa Olena de tráfico de menores, entre outras narrativas falsas. O relatório da “Maldita” conclui que as mulheres e as crianças são protagonistas diretos da desinformação que tem como objetivo atacar um país e deslegitimar os seus líderes.

A “Maldita.es” integra um projeto que procura monitorizar a desinformação transfrointeiriça a partir da colaboração de verificadores da Europa de Leste e América Latina e dessa análise resultam relatórios de produção regular.
