Estudos do IBERIFIER apresentados em formação sobre participação cívica

Os investigadores do OberCom e Iscte, instituições-membro do Iberifier, participaram esta semana, que terminou a 24 de janeiro, na formação “Participação Pública: Conceitos e métodos”. Os investigadores apresentaram resultados de atividades realizadas no âmbito do Observatório Ibérico de Média Digitais, IBERIFIER. Gustavo Cardoso, coordenador do IBERIFIER em Portugal, lecionou uma sessão dedicada à participação democrática e Miguel Paisana, investigador do IBERIFIER, apresentou e explorou investigação relacionada com os padrões de consumo de desinformação e os comportamentos negativos face a notícias.

A formação contou com 70 formandos, a grande maioria pessoas ligadas a Câmaras Municipais ou Juntas de Freguesia. Os investigadores salientam a importância de levar a investigação do IBERIFIER a outros públicos, para além do académico, na medida em que os impactos da desinformação se fazem sentir na sociedade civil como um todo e o consórcio está numa posição privilegiada para dialogar com uma grande diversidade de audiências.
