New IBERIFIER campaign warns of the normalisation of disinformation

The Iberian Digital Media Observatory, IBERIFIER, has launched another information campaign dedicated to tackling disinformation. This new communication project explores two central themes: on the one hand, young people are generally able to identify disinformation; on the other, this familiarity may be leading to its normalisation in their everyday digital lives.

Campaign

Did you see this vídeo? I couldn’t stop laughing, but it was made with IA.

You can clearly see it was manipulated. They must think we’re stupid.

Young people know how to identify disinformation. But they don´t consider it a serious problem.

Meanwhile, anti-immigration narratives growing, discrimination is increasing, and difference is being rejected.

Disinformation undermines institutions, fuels insecurity, and weakens democracy.

Don’t accept the lie. Look for the facts.
